Our story

Reach Out was created by a small group of dedicated mothers, perhaps much like yourself. They were brought together by a common vision for the educational needs of their children. Some were looking for an educational program that could offer their children access to the ideas, teaching philosophy, and methodology that matched what they had experienced while living abroad. Others were looking for an internationalized curriculum that their children could access to enrich their educational experience in China. What they shared in common was a desire for a rigorous program that also opened the doors to creative and critical thinking, self-reflection, and personal expression - the hallmarks of a strong international curriculum. After spending considerable time exploring various options, these moms were not able to find anything that quite met their children’s needs.

Felly, they did what any good mother would do, given the chance, a found their own way to offer their children the best possible learning opportunities designed to help them thrive. They consulted expert teachers and worked with other parents to discover how they could best meet the needs of other children with similar goals.
It was then that Reach Out was born.

Mr. Graddiodd Seb o Sefydliad MBA INSEEC, un o ysgolion busnes mwyaf blaenllaw'r byd, gyda gradd Meistr mewn Cyllid. Mae ganddo brofiad helaeth o ddysgu Saesneg, Hanes, Daearyddiaeth, Ysgrifennu Saesneg a pharatoi arholiad safonol Saesneg. Gyda dros 16,000 oriau o brofiad addysgu mewn prifysgolion ac ysgolion rhyngwladol yn 5 gwledydd, gan gynnwys ysgol Japaneaidd Shanghai, Ysgol Ryngwladol Toulouse yn Ffrainc a Phrifysgol Zhejiang, mae wedi addysgu ystod eang o fyfyrwyr o lefel uwchradd i brifysgol. Athrawes Math

David S. mae ganddo M.Sc. o Brifysgol British Columbia, Canada, ac ef oedd yr ieuengaf ac un o'r darlithwyr mwyaf poblogaidd yn y Brifysgol cyn ymuno â Reach Out. Mae wedi cyhoeddi amrywiaeth o weithiau mewn cyfnodolion gwyddonol. Mae wedi bod yn datblygu cwricwlwm yn Vancouver ers blynyddoedd ac yn dysgu SSAT, SAT, AP, IB, bioleg, cemeg, ffiseg, cyrsiau mathemateg a gwyddoniaeth. Yn ogystal â Saesneg, mae'n siarad Almaeneg, Swedeg a Tsieineaidd. Mae ganddo arddull addysgu hwyliog a siriol ac mae'n ysbrydoli ei fyfyrwyr gyda'i angerdd.

Andy
Ymgynghorydd

Mr. Graddiodd Andy o Brifysgol St Andrews a Phrifysgol Newcastle ac mae wedi gweithio yn y diwydiant addysg rhyngwladol ers bron 10 mlynedd, gyda phrofiad helaeth mewn rhaglenni addysg bellach ac astudio dramor. Mae'n gyfarwydd iawn â systemau derbyn prifysgolion y DU a'r Unol Daleithiau ac roedd yn swyddog derbyn cyn-fyfyrwyr ar gyfer ei alma mater., Prifysgol St Andrews yn y DU, mewn 2016 a 2017. Athrawes Ramadeg

Mae Ms. Mae Kelly yn athrawes ramadeg yn Reach Out. Graddiodd o Brifysgol Queensland yn Awstralia gyda thystysgrif addysg TESOL. Mae ganddi 10+ blynyddoedd o brofiad addysgu ac yn arbenigo mewn dysgu Saesneg i blant, Saesneg cyffredinol i fyfyrwyr ysgol uwchradd a pharatoi ar gyfer arholiadau. Mae Ms. Mae Kelly yn brofiadol iawn, ac wedi dysgu drosodd 500 myfyrwyr.

Lili
Athro Saesneg

Mae Dr. Graddiodd Lily o Brifysgol Harvard gyda gradd Baglor a Phrifysgol Georgia gyda PhD mewn Ysgrifennu Creadigol, ac mae'n dderbynnydd Ysgolheigion John Harvard, sy'n cael ei ddyfarnu i'r brig 5% o fyfyrwyr. Mae hi wedi gweithio ym Mhrifysgol Northwestern, safle 15 yn y byd, ac mae wedi bod yn dysgu Saesneg a'r Dyniaethau yn Ysgol Nueva, y Rhif. 1 ysgol gyhoeddus yn Ardal Bae San Francisco, ers 2014. Mae hi'n fentor, hyfforddwr academaidd ac arbenigwr maes pwnc sydd wedi ysbrydoli llawer o fyfyrwyr, ac mae wedi helpu sawl myfyriwr i wneud cais llwyddiannus i Brifysgol Stanford.

Athro Ffiseg

Mr. Graddiodd Lan o brifysgol fawreddog yn yr Unol Daleithiau gyda gradd Baglor a gradd Meistr, gan ganolbwyntio ar fathemateg ariannol ac arbenigo mewn pynciau mathemategol ac ystadegol a ffiseg. Mae wedi gweithio fel goruchwyliwr academaidd mewn sefydliadau hyfforddi mawr yn UDA a Chanada, ac mae'n gyfrifol am diwtora a gwella perfformiad myfyrwyr ysgol uwchradd ac israddedig mewn pynciau gwyddoniaeth. Mae hefyd wedi helpu nifer o fyfyrwyr yr Ivy League i drosglwyddo o Ysgol y Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol i'r Ysgol Busnes.

Daniel
Athro Saesneg

Daniel has nearly 30 years of teaching experience. He is a licensed teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University. In addition, Daniel holds multiple certificates in education, which illustrates his commitment to lifelong learning. Daniel has worked in top schools in Shanghai and understands the needs and goals of high-achieving students and has a proven track record of helping them achieve great results.

Lucas
Math/ IELTS Teacher

Mr. Lucas has a Double Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and has been working in AP Calculus and IB Math for over six years, with an average student score of 4.7 in AP Calculus and 6.5 in IB Math. He specializes in teaching mathematical statistics, big data analysis, academic essay writing, and business presentations. He has a personal GMAT score of 710 and an AP Calculus BC5.

Athro Saesneg

Mae Ms. Alice graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK with a Bachelor's degree in English and Communications. She has more than 5 years of teaching experience, with a TEFL certificate and is currently working as an English teacher in an international school in Shanghai.

Aileen
Athro Saesneg

Mae Ms. Aileen has a Master's degree in TESOL Education from the University of Bristol, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in English Education. She has extensive experience in teaching English in a variety of teaching styles, specialising in designing teaching that is appropriate for developing students' thinking skills and strengthening their English foundation. Her teaching philosophy is to focus on developing students' English thinking logic so as to really improve their English language skills.

Mr. He
Athrawes Math

Mr.He is a graduate of a leading national university and holds a Master's degree from Trinity College, one of the top ranked schools in Ireland. He has been involved in research, teaching and exam preparation for CIE IGCSE, AS/A Level Maths and is proficient in IELTS and Edexcel Maths P1, P2, P3, P4, Statistics and other related courses. His distinct teaching style is much appreciated by his students.

Mae Ms. Mae Kiana yn Oruchwyliwr Grŵp Addysgu ac Ymchwil Mathemateg Reach Out ac wedi graddio â chymwysterau uchel mewn Mathemateg a Mathemateg Gymhwysol., arbenigo mewn dadansoddi mathemategol, algebra uwch, geometreg ddadansoddol, tebygolrwydd ac ystadegau mathemategol, cyflwyniad i addysg pwnc mathemateg, hanfodion cyfrifiadurol, technegau cymhwyso cronfa ddata, c iaith a macro a micro-economeg. Mae ganddi drosodd 5 blynyddoedd o brofiad mewn addysgu a thiwtora mathemateg. Gydag arddull addysgu gydwybodol a dull addysgu proffesiynol mewn dosbarthiadau VIP un-i-un, mae hi'n mwynhau poblogrwydd mawr ymhlith myfyrwyr a llawer o rieni.

Mr. Li
Athrawes Math

Mr. Li has a Master’s degree from The University of Manchester with four years' experience in one-on-one IGCSE/IB bilingual teaching in international schools. Mr. Li specialises in mathematics and physics and has tutored students from a number of UK/US international schools and bilingual schools in Shanghai, such as Wellington, Concordia Bilingual, Huili and Yew Chung. He is very familiar with various international school systems, curriculums and examinations.

Sharon
Athrawes Math

Mae Ms. Sharon has an M.Sc. from Drexel University, studied in the USA for eight years and has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and science in China and the West. She has always had a passion for mathematics and science and is a life-long member of the National Mathematics Honor Society. She has a wealth of international teaching experience and has taught middle school maths, high school algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and AP calculus for many years at international schools. She is currently a teacher at Reach Out Online for both Middle and High School students.

Serena
Athrawes Math

Mae Ms. Serena has a degree with 1st honors in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Liverpool, is a scholarship holder, and received a Pass with Distinction in Statistics from Imperial College London the following year. She is committed to researching and teaching mathematics and statistics, and is not only highly skilled in her own field, but also passionate about teaching mathematics. With the philosophy that learning occurs without borders, she has been involved in volunteer mathematics teaching work at home and abroad, bringing hope to the education of children in remote mountainous areas of China and African countries.

Athrawes Math

Mae Ms. Una holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of East Anglia, majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics at undergraduate level and mathematics education at master's level. Mae Ms. Una has professional research experience in the development of mathematics education in China and abroad. She has vast experience in teaching mathematics to foreign students and in mathematics courses such as A-Levels. She has also been involved in the compilation and review of mathematics examination papers for Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
