Our story

Reach Out was created by a small group of dedicated mothers, perhaps much like yourself. They were brought together by a common vision for the educational needs of their children. Some were looking for an educational program that could offer their children access to the ideas, teaching philosophy, and methodology that matched what they had experienced while living abroad. Others were looking for an internationalized curriculum that their children could access to enrich their educational experience in China. What they shared in common was a desire for a rigorous program that also opened the doors to creative and critical thinking, self-reflection, and personal expression - the hallmarks of a strong international curriculum. After spending considerable time exploring various options, these moms were not able to find anything that quite met their children’s needs.

Niisiis, they did what any good mother would do, given the chance, ja found their own way to offer their children the best possible learning opportunities designed to help them thrive. They consulted expert teachers and worked with other parents to discover how they could best meet the needs of other children with similar goals.
It was then that Reach Out was born.

Seb
inglise keele õpetaja

Hr. Seb on lõpetanud INSEEC MBA instituudi, üks maailma juhtivaid ärikoole, rahanduse magistrikraadiga. David
Matemaatika õpetaja

David S. on M.Sc. Briti Columbia ülikoolist, Kanada, ja oli enne Reach Outiga liitumist ülikooli noorim ja üks ihaldatumaid õppejõude.. Ta on avaldanud mitmesuguseid töid teadusajakirjades. Andy
konsultant

Hr. Andy on lõpetanud St Andrewsi ülikooli ja Newcastle'i ülikooli ning töötanud rahvusvahelises haridusvaldkonnas peaaegu 10 aastat, kellel on laialdased kogemused täiendõppe ja välismaal õppimise programmides. Grammatikaõpetaja

pr. Kelly on Reach Outi grammatikaõpetaja. Ta on lõpetanud Austraalias Queenslandi ülikooli TESOLi haridustunnistusega. Tal on 10+ aastane õpetamiskogemus ja on spetsialiseerunud laste inglise keele õpetamisele, üldinglise keel gümnaasiumiõpilastele ja eksamiteks valmistumine. pr. Kelly on suurte kogemustega, ja on üle õpetanud 500 õpilased.

Lily
inglise keele õpetaja

Dr. Lily on lõpetanud Harvardi ülikooli bakalaureusekraadiga ja Georgia ülikoolis doktorikraadi loova kirjutamise alal, ja on John Harvardi teadlaste auhinna saaja, mis antakse tippu 5% õpilastest. Samuti on ta aidanud mitmel Ivy League'i tudengil sotsiaalteaduste koolist üle minna ärikooli.

Daniel
inglise keele õpetaja

Daniel has nearly 30 years of teaching experience. He is a licensed teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University. In addition, Daniel holds multiple certificates in education, which illustrates his commitment to lifelong learning. Daniel has worked in top schools in Shanghai and understands the needs and goals of high-achieving students and has a proven track record of helping them achieve great results.

Lucas
Math/ IELTS Teacher

Hr. Lucas has a Double Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and has been working in AP Calculus and IB Math for over six years, with an average student score of 4.7 in AP Calculus and 6.5 in IB Math. He specializes in teaching mathematical statistics, big data analysis, academic essay writing, and business presentations. He has a personal GMAT score of 710 and an AP Calculus BC5.

pr. Alice graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK with a Bachelor's degree in English and Communications. She has more than 5 years of teaching experience, with a TEFL certificate and is currently working as an English teacher in an international school in Shanghai.

Aileen

pr. Aileen has a Master's degree in TESOL Education from the University of Bristol, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in English Education. She has extensive experience in teaching English in a variety of teaching styles, specialising in designing teaching that is appropriate for developing students' thinking skills and strengthening their English foundation. Her teaching philosophy is to focus on developing students' English thinking logic so as to really improve their English language skills.

Hr. He
Matemaatika õpetaja

Mr.He is a graduate of a leading national university and holds a Master's degree from Trinity College, one of the top ranked schools in Ireland. He has been involved in research, teaching and exam preparation for CIE IGCSE, AS/A Level Maths and is proficient in IELTS and Edexcel Maths P1, P2, P3, P4, Statistics and other related courses. His distinct teaching style is much appreciated by his students.

Kiana
Matemaatika õpetaja

Kiana is Reach Out Maths Teaching and Research Group Supervisor and a highly qualified graduate in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, specialising in mathematical analysis, higher algebra, analytical geometry, probability and mathematical statistics, introduction to mathematics subject education, computer fundamentals, database application techniques, c language and macro and microeconomics. She has over 5 years of experience in teaching and tutoring mathematics. With a conscientious teaching style and professional teaching approach in one-on-one VIP classes, she enjoys a great popularity among students and many parents.

Hr. Li

Hr. Li has a Master’s degree from The University of Manchester with four years' experience in one-on-one IGCSE/IB bilingual teaching in international schools. Hr. Li specialises in mathematics and physics and has tutored students from a number of UK/US international schools and bilingual schools in Shanghai, such as Wellington, Concordia Bilingual, Huili and Yew Chung. He is very familiar with various international school systems, curriculums and examinations.

Sharon

pr. Sharon has an M.Sc. from Drexel University, studied in the USA for eight years and has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and science in China and the West. She has always had a passion for mathematics and science and is a life-long member of the National Mathematics Honor Society. She has a wealth of international teaching experience and has taught middle school maths, high school algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and AP calculus for many years at international schools. She is currently a teacher at Reach Out Online for both Middle and High School students.

Serena

Serena has a degree with 1st honors in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Liverpool, is a scholarship holder, and received a Pass with Distinction in Statistics from Imperial College London the following year. She is committed to researching and teaching mathematics and statistics, and is not only highly skilled in her own field, but also passionate about teaching mathematics. With the philosophy that learning occurs without borders, she has been involved in volunteer mathematics teaching work at home and abroad, bringing hope to the education of children in remote mountainous areas of China and African countries.

pr. Una holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of East Anglia, majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics at undergraduate level and mathematics education at master's level. pr. Una has professional research experience in the development of mathematics education in China and abroad. She has vast experience in teaching mathematics to foreign students and in mathematics courses such as A-Levels. She has also been involved in the compilation and review of mathematics examination papers for Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
