Our story

Reach Out was created by a small group of dedicated mothers, perhaps much like yourself. They were brought together by a common vision for the educational needs of their children. Some were looking for an educational program that could offer their children access to the ideas, teaching philosophy, and methodology that matched what they had experienced while living abroad. Others were looking for an internationalized curriculum that their children could access to enrich their educational experience in China. What they shared in common was a desire for a rigorous program that also opened the doors to creative and critical thinking, self-reflection, and personal expression - the hallmarks of a strong international curriculum. After spending considerable time exploring various options, these moms were not able to find anything that quite met their children’s needs.

Entón, they did what any good mother would do, given the chance, e found their own way to offer their children the best possible learning opportunities designed to help them thrive. They consulted expert teachers and worked with other parents to discover how they could best meet the needs of other children with similar goals.
It was then that Reach Out was born.

Profesora de Inglés

Sr. Seb graduouse no INSEEC MBA Institute, unha das principais escolas de negocios do mundo, cun Máster en Finanzas. Ten unha ampla experiencia no ensino do inglés, Historia, Xeografía, Redacción en inglés e preparación para exames estandarizados en inglés. Con máis 16,000 horas de experiencia docente en universidades e escolas internacionais en 5 países, incluíndo a escola xaponesa de Shanghai, a Escola Internacional de Toulouse en Francia e a Universidade de Zhejiang, ensinou a un amplo abano de estudantes desde os niveis de secundaria ata universitarios. A Seb gústalle crear relacións significativas cos seus alumnos, e inxecta humor en cada lección para fomentar esas relacións e facer que as súas clases sexan agradables.

Profesora de Matemáticas

David S. ten un M.Sc. da Universidade da Columbia Británica, Canadá, e foi o profesorado máis novo e un dos máis demandados da Universidade antes de incorporarse a Reach Out. Publicou diversos traballos en revistas científicas. Leva anos desenvolvendo o currículo en Vancouver e ensina SSAT, SÁB, AP, IB, bioloxía, química, física, cursos de matemáticas e ciencias. Ademais do inglés, fala alemán, sueco e chinés. Ten un estilo de ensino divertido e alegre e inspira aos seus alumnos coa súa paixón.

Consultor

Sr. Andy formouse na Universidade de St Andrews e na Universidade de Newcastle e traballou na industria da educación internacional durante case 10 anos, cunha ampla experiencia en programas de educación superior e estudos no estranxeiro. Está moi familiarizado cos sistemas de admisión á universidade tanto no Reino Unido como nos Estados Unidos e foi oficial de admisión de antigos alumnos da súa alma mater., a Universidade de St Andrews no Reino Unido, en 2016 e 2017. Axudou a centos de estudantes de diferentes sistemas educativos (AP, Un nivel, IB) para solicitar as principais universidades do Reino Unido e dos Estados Unidos, incluídas as escolas da Ivy League nos Estados Unidos e as escolas G5 no Reino Unido. Kelly ten moita experiencia, e ensinou 500 estudantes.

Profesora de Inglés

Dr. Lily graduouse na Universidade de Harvard cunha licenciatura e na Universidade de Xeorxia cun doutoramento en Escritura Creativa., e é destinatario dos John Harvard Scholars, que se outorga á parte superior 5% de estudantes. Traballou na Northwestern University, ocupa o posto 15 do mundo, e estivo dando clases de inglés e humanidades en The Nueva School, o No. 1 escola pública na área da baía de San Francisco, xa que 2014. Profesora de Física

Traballou como supervisor académico nas principais institucións de formación dos Estados Unidos e Canadá, e encárgase de titorizar e mellorar o rendemento do alumnado de bacharelato e grao nas materias de ciencias. Profesora de Inglés

Daniel has nearly 30 anos de experiencia docente. He is a licensed teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University. Ademais, Daniel holds multiple certificates in education, which illustrates his commitment to lifelong learning. Daniel has worked in top schools in Shanghai and understands the needs and goals of high-achieving students and has a proven track record of helping them achieve great results.

Lucas
Math/ IELTS Teacher

Sr. Lucas has a Double Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and has been working in AP Calculus and IB Math for over six years, with an average student score of 4.7 in AP Calculus and 6.5 in IB Math. He specializes in teaching mathematical statistics, big data analysis, academic essay writing, and business presentations. He has a personal GMAT score of 710 and an AP Calculus BC5.

Profesora de Inglés

Sra. Aileen has a Master's degree in TESOL Education from the University of Bristol, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in English Education. She has extensive experience in teaching English in a variety of teaching styles, specialising in designing teaching that is appropriate for developing students' thinking skills and strengthening their English foundation. Her teaching philosophy is to focus on developing students' English thinking logic so as to really improve their English language skills.

Mr.He is a graduate of a leading national university and holds a Master's degree from Trinity College, one of the top ranked schools in Ireland. He has been involved in research, teaching and exam preparation for CIE IGCSE, AS/A Level Maths and is proficient in IELTS and Edexcel Maths P1, P2, P3, P4, Statistics and other related courses. His distinct teaching style is much appreciated by his students.

Profesora de Matemáticas

Sra. Kiana is Reach Out Maths Teaching and Research Group Supervisor and a highly qualified graduate in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, specialising in mathematical analysis, higher algebra, analytical geometry, probability and mathematical statistics, introduction to mathematics subject education, computer fundamentals, database application techniques, c language and macro and microeconomics. She has over 5 years of experience in teaching and tutoring mathematics. With a conscientious teaching style and professional teaching approach in one-on-one VIP classes, she enjoys a great popularity among students and many parents.

Sra. Sharon has an M.Sc. from Drexel University, studied in the USA for eight years and has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and science in China and the West. She has always had a passion for mathematics and science and is a life-long member of the National Mathematics Honor Society. She has a wealth of international teaching experience and has taught middle school maths, high school algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and AP calculus for many years at international schools. She is currently a teacher at Reach Out Online for both Middle and High School students.

Sra. Una holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of East Anglia, majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics at undergraduate level and mathematics education at master's level. Sra. Una has professional research experience in the development of mathematics education in China and abroad. She has vast experience in teaching mathematics to foreign students and in mathematics courses such as A-Levels. She has also been involved in the compilation and review of mathematics examination papers for Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
