Our story

Reach Out was created by a small group of dedicated mothers, perhaps much like yourself. They were brought together by a common vision for the educational needs of their children. Some were looking for an educational program that could offer their children access to the ideas, teaching philosophy, and methodology that matched what they had experienced while living abroad. Others were looking for an internationalized curriculum that their children could access to enrich their educational experience in China. What they shared in common was a desire for a rigorous program that also opened the doors to creative and critical thinking, self-reflection, and personal expression - the hallmarks of a strong international curriculum. After spending considerable time exploring various options, these moms were not able to find anything that quite met their children’s needs.

Jadi, they did what any good mother would do, given the chance, Dan found their own way to offer their children the best possible learning opportunities designed to help them thrive. They consulted expert teachers and worked with other parents to discover how they could best meet the needs of other children with similar goals.
It was then that Reach Out was born.

Guru bahasa Inggris

Tn. Seb lulus dari Institut MBA INSEEC, salah satu sekolah bisnis terkemuka di dunia, dengan gelar Master di bidang Keuangan. Beliau memiliki banyak pengalaman dalam mengajar bahasa Inggris, Sejarah, Geografi, Penulisan bahasa Inggris dan persiapan ujian standar bahasa Inggris. Dengan berakhir 16,000 jam pengalaman mengajar di universitas dan sekolah internasional di 5 negara, termasuk sekolah Jepang Shanghai, Sekolah Internasional Toulouse di Perancis dan Universitas Zhejiang, dia telah mengajar banyak siswa dari tingkat menengah hingga universitas. david s. memiliki gelar M.Sc. dari Universitas British Columbia, Kanada, dan merupakan dosen termuda dan salah satu dosen yang paling dicari di Universitas sebelum bergabung dengan Reach Out. Berbagai karyanya telah diterbitkan di jurnal ilmiah. Dia telah mengembangkan kurikulum di Vancouver selama bertahun-tahun dan mengajar SSAT, DUDUK, AP, IB, biologi, kimia, fisika, kursus matematika dan sains. Tn. MS. Kelly adalah guru tata bahasa di Reach Out. Dia lulus dari University of Queensland di Australia dengan sertifikat pendidikan TESOL. Dia punya 10+ pengalaman mengajar bertahun-tahun dan berspesialisasi dalam mengajar bahasa Inggris anak-anak, bahasa Inggris umum untuk siswa sekolah menengah dan persiapan ujian. MS. Tn. Dia pernah bekerja sebagai supervisor akademik di lembaga pelatihan besar di Amerika dan Kanada, dan bertanggung jawab untuk membimbing dan meningkatkan kinerja siswa sekolah menengah dan sarjana dalam mata pelajaran sains. Ia juga membantu beberapa siswa Ivy League pindah dari Fakultas Ilmu Sosial ke Fakultas Bisnis.

Daniel
Guru bahasa Inggris

Daniel has nearly 30 pengalaman mengajar selama bertahun-tahun. He is a licensed teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University. Selain itu, Daniel holds multiple certificates in education, which illustrates his commitment to lifelong learning. Daniel has worked in top schools in Shanghai and understands the needs and goals of high-achieving students and has a proven track record of helping them achieve great results.

Math/ IELTS Teacher

Tn. Lucas has a Double Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and has been working in AP Calculus and IB Math for over six years, with an average student score of 4.7 in AP Calculus and 6.5 in IB Math. He specializes in teaching mathematical statistics, big data analysis, academic essay writing, and business presentations. He has a personal GMAT score of 710 and an AP Calculus BC5.

MS. Aileen has a Master's degree in TESOL Education from the University of Bristol, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in English Education. She has extensive experience in teaching English in a variety of teaching styles, specialising in designing teaching that is appropriate for developing students' thinking skills and strengthening their English foundation. Her teaching philosophy is to focus on developing students' English thinking logic so as to really improve their English language skills.

Guru Matematika

Mr.He is a graduate of a leading national university and holds a Master's degree from Trinity College, one of the top ranked schools in Ireland. He has been involved in research, teaching and exam preparation for CIE IGCSE, AS/A Level Maths and is proficient in IELTS and Edexcel Maths P1, P2, P3, P4, Statistics and other related courses. His distinct teaching style is much appreciated by his students.

Guru Matematika

MS. Kiana is Reach Out Maths Teaching and Research Group Supervisor and a highly qualified graduate in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, specialising in mathematical analysis, higher algebra, analytical geometry, probability and mathematical statistics, introduction to mathematics subject education, computer fundamentals, database application techniques, c language and macro and microeconomics. She has over 5 years of experience in teaching and tutoring mathematics. With a conscientious teaching style and professional teaching approach in one-on-one VIP classes, she enjoys a great popularity among students and many parents.

Guru Matematika

MS. Sharon has an M.Sc. from Drexel University, studied in the USA for eight years and has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and science in China and the West. She has always had a passion for mathematics and science and is a life-long member of the National Mathematics Honor Society. She has a wealth of international teaching experience and has taught middle school maths, high school algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and AP calculus for many years at international schools. She is currently a teacher at Reach Out Online for both Middle and High School students.

MS. MS. Una holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of East Anglia, majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics at undergraduate level and mathematics education at master's level. MS. Una has professional research experience in the development of mathematics education in China and abroad. She has vast experience in teaching mathematics to foreign students and in mathematics courses such as A-Levels. She has also been involved in the compilation and review of mathematics examination papers for Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
