Our story

Reach Out was created by a small group of dedicated mothers, perhaps much like yourself. They were brought together by a common vision for the educational needs of their children. Some were looking for an educational program that could offer their children access to the ideas, teaching philosophy, and methodology that matched what they had experienced while living abroad. Others were looking for an internationalized curriculum that their children could access to enrich their educational experience in China. What they shared in common was a desire for a rigorous program that also opened the doors to creative and critical thinking, self-reflection, and personal expression - the hallmarks of a strong international curriculum. After spending considerable time exploring various options, these moms were not able to find anything that quite met their children’s needs.

Jadi, they did what any good mother would do, given the chance, dan found their own way to offer their children the best possible learning opportunities designed to help them thrive. They consulted expert teachers and worked with other parents to discover how they could best meet the needs of other children with similar goals.
It was then that Reach Out was born.

MR. SEB lulus dari Insitut MBA Inseec, salah satu sekolah perniagaan terkemuka di dunia, dengan ijazah sarjana dalam bidang kewangan. Dia mempunyai banyak pengalaman dalam mengajar Bahasa Inggeris, Sejarah, Geografi, Penulisan Bahasa Inggeris dan Persediaan Peperiksaan Sahabat Inggeris. Dengan lebih 16,000 jam pengalaman mengajar di universiti dan sekolah antarabangsa di 5 negara, termasuk sekolah Jepun Shanghai, Sekolah Antarabangsa Toulouse di Perancis dan Zhejiang University, Dia telah mengajar pelbagai pelajar dari peringkat menengah ke universiti. Seb menikmati menjalin hubungan yang bermakna dengan pelajarnya, dan menyuntik humor ke dalam setiap pelajaran untuk memupuk hubungan tersebut dan menjadikan kelasnya menyeronokkan.

David
Guru matematik

David s. mempunyai M.Sc. dari Universiti British Columbia, Kanada, dan adalah yang termuda dan salah satu yang paling dicari pensyarah di universiti sebelum menyertai menjangkau. Beliau telah menerbitkan pelbagai karya dalam jurnal saintifik. Beliau telah membangunkan kurikulum di Vancouver selama bertahun -tahun dan mengajar SSAT, Duduk, Ap, Ib, Biologi, Kimia, Fizik, Kursus Matematik dan Sains. Selain Bahasa Inggeris, Dia bercakap bahasa Jerman, Sweden dan Cina. Dia mempunyai gaya pengajaran yang menyeronokkan dan ceria dan memberi inspirasi kepada pelajarnya dengan semangatnya.

Perunding

MR. Andy lulus dari Universiti St Andrews dan Newcastle University dan telah bekerja di industri pendidikan antarabangsa hampir hampir 10 tahun, dengan pengalaman luas dalam pendidikan lanjut dan belajar di luar negara. Dia sangat akrab dengan sistem kemasukan universiti di UK dan AS dan merupakan pegawai kemasukan alumni untuk alma maternya, Universiti St Andrews di UK, dalam 2016 dan 2017. Dia telah membantu beratus -ratus pelajar dari sistem pendidikan yang berbeza (Ap, Tahap, Ib) untuk memohon ke universiti teratas di UK dan AS, Termasuk sekolah Ivy League di sekolah AS dan G5 di UK dia dapat merancang sistem pengetahuan sekolah menengah untuk pelajar mengikut kebolehan dan kekuatan mereka, supaya mereka dapat membina kekuatan mereka dan mengelakkan kelemahan mereka dalam proses kajian lanjut dan mencapai matlamat mereka dengan cara yang paling berkesan.

Guru tatabahasa

MS. Kelly adalah guru tatabahasa di Reach Out. Beliau lulus dari University of Queensland di Australia dengan sijil pendidikan TESOL. Dia ada 10+ tahun pengalaman mengajar dan mengkhususkan diri dalam mengajar Bahasa Inggeris Kanak -kanak, Bahasa Inggeris Umum untuk pelajar sekolah menengah dan persediaan peperiksaan. MS. Kelly sangat berpengalaman, dan telah mengajar 500 pelajar.

Lily
Guru Bahasa Inggeris

Dr. Lily lulus dari Harvard University dengan ijazah sarjana muda dan Universiti Georgia dengan PhD dalam Penulisan Kreatif, dan merupakan penerima ulama John Harvard, yang diberikan ke puncak 5% pelajar. MR. Beliau telah bekerja sebagai penyelia akademik di institusi latihan utama di Amerika Syarikat dan Kanada, dan bertanggungjawab untuk mengajar dan meningkatkan prestasi pelajar sekolah menengah dan pelajar dalam mata pelajaran sains. Daniel
Guru Bahasa Inggeris

Daniel has nearly 30 years of teaching experience. He is a licensed teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University. In addition, Daniel holds multiple certificates in education, which illustrates his commitment to lifelong learning. Daniel has worked in top schools in Shanghai and understands the needs and goals of high-achieving students and has a proven track record of helping them achieve great results.

Lucas
Math/ IELTS Teacher

MR. Lucas has a Double Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and has been working in AP Calculus and IB Math for over six years, with an average student score of 4.7 in AP Calculus and 6.5 in IB Math. He specializes in teaching mathematical statistics, big data analysis, academic essay writing, and business presentations. He has a personal GMAT score of 710 and an AP Calculus BC5.

Guru Bahasa Inggeris

MS. Alice graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK with a Bachelor's degree in English and Communications. She has more than 5 years of teaching experience, with a TEFL certificate and is currently working as an English teacher in an international school in Shanghai.

Aileen
Guru Bahasa Inggeris

MS. Aileen has a Master's degree in TESOL Education from the University of Bristol, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in English Education. She has extensive experience in teaching English in a variety of teaching styles, specialising in designing teaching that is appropriate for developing students' thinking skills and strengthening their English foundation. Her teaching philosophy is to focus on developing students' English thinking logic so as to really improve their English language skills.

MR. He
Guru matematik

Mr.He is a graduate of a leading national university and holds a Master's degree from Trinity College, one of the top ranked schools in Ireland. He has been involved in research, teaching and exam preparation for CIE IGCSE, AS/A Level Maths and is proficient in IELTS and Edexcel Maths P1, P2, P3, P4, Statistics and other related courses. His distinct teaching style is much appreciated by his students.

Kiana
Guru matematik

MS. Kiana is Reach Out Maths Teaching and Research Group Supervisor and a highly qualified graduate in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, specialising in mathematical analysis, higher algebra, analytical geometry, probability and mathematical statistics, introduction to mathematics subject education, computer fundamentals, database application techniques, c language and macro and microeconomics. She has over 5 years of experience in teaching and tutoring mathematics. With a conscientious teaching style and professional teaching approach in one-on-one VIP classes, she enjoys a great popularity among students and many parents.

MR. Li
Guru matematik

MR. Li has a Master’s degree from The University of Manchester with four years' experience in one-on-one IGCSE/IB bilingual teaching in international schools. MR. Li specialises in mathematics and physics and has tutored students from a number of UK/US international schools and bilingual schools in Shanghai, such as Wellington, Concordia Bilingual, Huili and Yew Chung. He is very familiar with various international school systems, curriculums and examinations.

Sharon
Guru matematik

MS. Sharon has an M.Sc. from Drexel University, studied in the USA for eight years and has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and science in China and the West. She has always had a passion for mathematics and science and is a life-long member of the National Mathematics Honor Society. She has a wealth of international teaching experience and has taught middle school maths, high school algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and AP calculus for many years at international schools. She is currently a teacher at Reach Out Online for both Middle and High School students.

Serena
Guru matematik

MS. Serena has a degree with 1st honors in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Liverpool, is a scholarship holder, and received a Pass with Distinction in Statistics from Imperial College London the following year. She is committed to researching and teaching mathematics and statistics, and is not only highly skilled in her own field, but also passionate about teaching mathematics. With the philosophy that learning occurs without borders, she has been involved in volunteer mathematics teaching work at home and abroad, bringing hope to the education of children in remote mountainous areas of China and African countries.

MS. Una holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of East Anglia, majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics at undergraduate level and mathematics education at master's level. MS. Una has professional research experience in the development of mathematics education in China and abroad. She has vast experience in teaching mathematics to foreign students and in mathematics courses such as A-Levels. She has also been involved in the compilation and review of mathematics examination papers for Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
