Il-missjoni ta’ Reach Out hija li tgħaqqad lill-istudenti ma’ edukaturi esperti li joħolqu u jwasslu l-oriġinali, jispira, kurrikuli ta’ klassi dinjija. Bdejna f’dan il-vjaġġ sabiex inkunu nistgħu ngħinu lill-istudenti jifhmu kif isibu l-vuċi unika tagħhom stess u niskopru l-ideat kreattivi u ta’ valur li jinsabu f’kull wieħed minnhom. Bil-vuċi tagħhom, għandhom is-setgħa li jibdlu d-dinja, u nixtiequ nagħtuhom is-setgħa li jagħmlu dan.

L-istorja tagħna

Reach Out was created by a small group of dedicated mothers, forsi ħafna bħalek innifsek. Inġabru flimkien b’viżjoni komuni għall-bżonnijiet edukattivi ta’ wliedhom. Xi wħud kienu qed ifittxu programm edukattiv li jista’ joffri lil uliedhom aċċess għall-ideat, tagħlim tal-filosofija, u metodoloġija li taqbel ma’ dak li kienu esperjenzaw waqt li kienu jgħixu barra. Others were looking for an internationalized curriculum that their children could access to enrich their educational experience in China. What they shared in common was a desire for a rigorous program that also opened the doors to creative and critical thinking, awtoriflessjoni, u l-espressjoni personali - il-karatteristiċi ta’ kurrikulu internazzjonali b’saħħtu. Seb
English Teacher

Mr. Seb graduated from the INSEEC MBA Institute, one of the world's leading business schools, with a Master's degree in Finance. He has abundant experience in teaching English, History, Geography, English writing and English standardized exam preparation. With over 16,000 hours of teaching experience at universities and international schools in 5 countries, including Shanghai Japanese school, the International School of Toulouse in France and Zhejiang University, he has taught a wide range of students from secondary to university levels. Seb enjoys creating meaningful relationships with his students, and injects humor into each lesson to foster those relationships and make his classes enjoyable.

David
Math Teacher

David S. has an M.Sc. from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and was the youngest and one of the most highly sought after lecturers at the University before joining Reach Out. He has published a variety of works in scientific journals. He has been developing curriculum in Vancouver for years and teaches SSAT, SAT, AP, IB, biology, chemistry, physics, maths and science courses. In addition to English, he speaks German, Swedish and Chinese. He has a fun and cheerful teaching style and inspires his students with his passion.

Consultant

Grammar Teacher

Ms. Kelly is a grammar teacher at Reach Out. She graduated from the University of Queensland in Australia with a TESOL education certificate. She has 10+ years of teaching experience and specialises in teaching children's English, general English for high school students and exam preparation. Ms. Kelly is highly experienced, and has taught over 500 students.

Lily
English Teacher

Dr. Lily graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree and the University of Georgia with a PhD in Creative Writing, and is a recipient of the John Harvard Scholars, which is awarded to the top 5% of students. She has worked at Northwestern University, ranked 15th in the world, and has been teaching English and Humanities at The Nueva School, the No. 1 public school in the San Francisco Bay Area, since 2014. She is a mentor, academic coach and subject area expert who has inspired many students, and has helped several students successfully apply to Stanford University.

Mr. Lan
Physics Teacher

Mr. Lan graduated from a prestigious university in the United States with a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree, majoring in financial mathematics and specialising in mathematical and statistical subjects and physics. He has worked as an academic supervisor at major training institutions in the US and Canada, and is responsible for tutoring and improving the performance of high school and undergraduate students in science subjects. He has also helped several Ivy League students transfer from the School of Social Sciences to the School of Business.

Daniel
English Teacher

Daniel has nearly 30 years of teaching experience. He is a licensed teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University. Barra minn hekk, Daniel holds multiple certificates in education, which illustrates his commitment to lifelong learning. Daniel has worked in top schools in Shanghai and understands the needs and goals of high-achieving students and has a proven track record of helping them achieve great results.

Lucas
Math/ IELTS Teacher

Mr. Lucas has a Double Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and has been working in AP Calculus and IB Math for over six years, with an average student score of 4.7 in AP Calculus and 6.5 in IB Math. He specializes in teaching mathematical statistics, big data analysis, academic essay writing, and business presentations. He has a personal GMAT score of 710 and an AP Calculus BC5.

English Teacher

Ms. Alice graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK with a Bachelor's degree in English and Communications. She has more than 5 years of teaching experience, with a TEFL certificate and is currently working as an English teacher in an international school in Shanghai.

Aileen
English Teacher

Ms. Aileen has a Master's degree in TESOL Education from the University of Bristol, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in English Education. She has extensive experience in teaching English in a variety of teaching styles, specialising in designing teaching that is appropriate for developing students' thinking skills and strengthening their English foundation. Her teaching philosophy is to focus on developing students' English thinking logic so as to really improve their English language skills.

Mr. He
Math Teacher

Mr.He is a graduate of a leading national university and holds a Master's degree from Trinity College, one of the top ranked schools in Ireland. He has been involved in research, teaching and exam preparation for CIE IGCSE, AS/A Level Maths and is proficient in IELTS and Edexcel Maths P1, P2, P3, P4, Statistics and other related courses. His distinct teaching style is much appreciated by his students.

Kiana
Math Teacher

Ms. Kiana is Reach Out Maths Teaching and Research Group Supervisor and a highly qualified graduate in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, specialising in mathematical analysis, higher algebra, analytical geometry, probability and mathematical statistics, introduction to mathematics subject education, computer fundamentals, database application techniques, c language and macro and microeconomics. She has over 5 years of experience in teaching and tutoring mathematics. With a conscientious teaching style and professional teaching approach in one-on-one VIP classes, she enjoys a great popularity among students and many parents.

Mr. Li
Math Teacher

Mr. Li has a Master’s degree from The University of Manchester with four years' experience in one-on-one IGCSE/IB bilingual teaching in international schools. Mr. Li specialises in mathematics and physics and has tutored students from a number of UK/US international schools and bilingual schools in Shanghai, such as Wellington, Concordia Bilingual, Huili and Yew Chung. He is very familiar with various international school systems, curriculums and examinations.

Sharon
Math Teacher

Ms. Sharon has an M.Sc. from Drexel University, studied in the USA for eight years and has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and science in China and the West. She has always had a passion for mathematics and science and is a life-long member of the National Mathematics Honor Society. She has a wealth of international teaching experience and has taught middle school maths, high school algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and AP calculus for many years at international schools. She is currently a teacher at Reach Out Online for both Middle and High School students.

Serena
Math Teacher

Ms. Serena has a degree with 1st honors in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Liverpool, is a scholarship holder, and received a Pass with Distinction in Statistics from Imperial College London the following year. She is committed to researching and teaching mathematics and statistics, and is not only highly skilled in her own field, but also passionate about teaching mathematics. With the philosophy that learning occurs without borders, she has been involved in volunteer mathematics teaching work at home and abroad, bringing hope to the education of children in remote mountainous areas of China and African countries.

Una
Math Teacher

Ms. Una holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of East Anglia, majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics at undergraduate level and mathematics education at master's level. Ms. Una has professional research experience in the development of mathematics education in China and abroad. She has vast experience in teaching mathematics to foreign students and in mathematics courses such as A-Levels. She has also been involved in the compilation and review of mathematics examination papers for Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
