Reach Out Math Programs

For parents who feel their student might not be challenged enough in his or her current math program at school, Reach Out offers a solution! Our Math programs are designed to challenge top students so they can get the academic rigor they need, while at the same time being engaged with the content alongside their expert teacher and peers.
Singapore Math Course
The Singapore math method is a highly effective teaching approach which has been adopted by many international schools in the past 20 years. The course is unique, as it helps train students' logical thinking skills. In contrast to U.S. math programs, in which concepts and skills are more compartmentalized within and across grade levels, Singapore math puts a strong emphasis on weaving previous lessons into new content.

Common key features of Singapore Math include CPA (Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) progression, number bonds, bar modeling, and mental math.

Reach Out works with Math teachers from Singapore, who not only have rich teaching experience, but also have expertise in this unique approach.
Pre-IGCSE
Many prestigious international schools worldwide have adopted the IGCSE Math Curriculum starting in high-school. Content covered at the IGCSE bridges directly into IB and and A-Level curriculums, so if students do not have a solid foundation in IGCSE study, they may experience difficulty in succeeding on their IB or A-Level Math examinations.
Students usually have academic, as well as university enrollment pressure when they step into high school, so studying the IGCSE curriculum 2 years in advance will better prepare them for success.

At Reach Out, we offer two levels of IGCSE courses: the 0607 version for standard classes, and the 0606 version for advanced classes.
Enhancing Math Program
Our Reach Out Enhancing Math Program is based on the textbook used by the majority of international schools, Scott Foresman-Addison Wesley.

Our educators carry out in-depth, research-based practices on the corresponding learning objectives in class, allowing students to master more problem-solving methods and skills, cultivate new ideas, and deeply analyze difficult questions one by one in each chapter.
